The summer schedule is out!!!

Even the Baptists know that Elder Nate Cerny rocks! Is everyone as excited for Saint Patrick's Day as I am? When else can you have green milk on your cereal and feel good about it? If I see a leprechaun I am still going to step on it though. After I make him tell me where his gold is. If you see a leprechaun let me know. Have any of you ever seen a leprechaun? Just thought I'd check. I bet even leprechauns know that Elder Nate Cerny rocks. Have you taught any leprecauns on your mission Elder Cerny? I bet they would have a hard time with tithing. I hear they are greedy.
Isaac is one funny guy.

Where is that dude?

john.d.howlett@byu.edu where are you?
this nice man wanted an invitation a few weeks ago, well then Sir, I must fulfill your polite, and I must say well worded request.

But where, if there is a place for this fellow to be, can he be? And why isn't it here, and why not at least now?
This saddens me, truly.

Search party, let's go find this man. He is lost. He needs our help! We will give him the help he has silently asked for.
Bring what it is with you that you know he'll need. Blankets, warm tea. Comforting stories of times past.
So where ever you are john.d.howlett@byu.edu, know this: The regulars at the We Love Nathan Cerny blog, also love you and will extend a helpful hand when it is asked for. And if we don't see you soon, we know were your email lives. And we are not afraid to stock you, no sir we are not. Indeed.

Another exciting day here at the ranch: Missionaries are doing awesome.
We have our tickets for Peru, but for the touring around Peru. Good thing that we know the language, so we can work with any contingency.
Wow--sounds like you are learning the Spanish, muy bueno.
Mom has me working out like a mad fiend. We are doing Pilates on the Reformer on Saturday. With spin class, and mat Pilates, and yoga, and reformer Pilates, and 6-mile running, I have a potential for becoming the healthiest corpse in the cemetery.
Mom got flowers and a digital camera for Valentine's. Once Marek teaches us how to use the camera, we can post some pictures to you. The flowers still look very pretty.
Eat your heart out, I had my teeth cleaned on Thursday.
Have you used your welding skills yet as a missionary? Your skating skills? Keep us informed.
It is unbelievable that you have been gone for six months already. Personally I con't feel 6 months older.
Kirk and Zeb have done absolutely no training for the triathlon. They could be hurtin' units after the race. They might be sore until you get back. (Note to self: sitting at a computer is not good training for a triathlon.)
We took Marek swimming with us Friday to 24-hour fitness. He still is a really good swimmer. I think that you could still get him in the breaststroke. I think that he can beat me in the triathlon swim, but that I can take him in the entire triathlon. I do have the advantage of old age.
Thank you for your missionary service. We hope that you are happy and successful. We are thankful that you like your companion. Keep enjoying the Book of Mormon in Spanish. Heavenly Father has given you so much. We love you and think of you often.
Love and Kisses, DAD

This is Anne. We were looking at the family pictures for aly's wedding and found this one of you. We thought you might enjoy it. You were a Ninja Turtle. Does this bring back any memories. We missed you when we were looking at the pictures. You were so cute. Love Mom

I like pork!

I am not a wolf, but I do like pork. I like pork in almost all the forms currently available on the open market. I enjoy pork sausage, pork-ka-bobs, pork chops, pork-sicles... I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

I have requested my very own account so that I too can express my love for Nathan Cerny in a public forum. Maybe the blog-master will grant my request. Until then I can only hope and blog under the Aly Cerny account, which I have hacked into. Her password was so easy to guess.

Aly almost ran over a guy on a skateboard the other night. I have called her unto repentance. She is an excellent driver when she is not kissing me and driving at the same time. I tell her not to do that, but she doesn't listen.

Aly works out like a mad fiend! As a result I too am working out like a mad fiend! I am a little sad that I will miss the triathalon, but sacrifices must be made for the sake of a ten day honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta :-) I guess next year we will be able to show off our skills.

I had a doctrinal question for you. Since you are a missionary maybe you can help me out. When I was in Montana with Aly, she made me buy her a bunch of lottery tickets. She said she can't buy them in Utah. She also wanted a super-tanker 66 ounce mountain dew from the gas station (no ice). Can we still get married in the temple now? Don't tell your mom about any of this please. Thanks in advance.

We spent tonight looking at pictures of you all growing up. I particularly enjoyed the Welcome to Colorful Colorado photo. I am sure you remember that one.

Ok... well I better go now. Keep up the good work. We look forward to seeing you on TV in the Olympics.

Hey Nate, we're hanging out

Hey nate,

How's it going? We're hanging out. I got to go to church with John today and they taught us about dating. I learned a lot. John says he thinks that you are the greatest elder and Kara is the best sister missionary. It's true.

We are going to have our reception in the back yard. Mom is making lots of plans and I am very thankful. I have a lot to do in my lab so she is helping me so much. Lots of people are going to come to the temple so I think it will be very fun. We looked through lots of old pictures for our reception and we came to the conclusion that you are the cutest brother ever.

I hope that you are doing lots of wakeboarding on the DR wakeboard team.

Your pal,
Al

Happy

Se habla espanol.

We are watching the Olympics. See if you can get on the DR bobsled team. The bobsled events are next weekend, so you still have time to train and get to Torino if you skip doing your laundry this week. Get one of your investigators to be the breakman, so the President will let you out of your area. (Note: This still doesn't get you out of the Summer Olympics---representing the DR in swimming---water polo and synchronized swimming.)

Mom and I talked in Sacrament Meeting today. I hate to follow mom; she is so good. And the missionaries love her. I am embarrassed to follow her. Also I started to fall asleep in District Meeting. Oh.

Mom and I are working out like crazy people. Mom has added more Pilates on the rack on Saturday. In fact, yesterday I went to spin class, Yoga*/Pilates**, Pilates on the rack, and then a 6-mile run. Pilates also involves a new exercise band , which makes it even harder. Ouch! Also yesterday I had to go to the office and retreat two root canals. That was about four hours at the dental office. (I had already worked 3 hours on one of the teeth, an appointment whcih burned up my ultrasonic machine and I had to send it off for repair.) I deeply wished that the first doctor had done things right.

Oh ,and I did a root canal on the mayor of Provo. (Alert: celebrity root canal! celebrity root canal!)

We have been thinking and praying for your safety. We know that you are trying and working hard. Our missionaries are getting blessed and we know that you are too. You will be asked to speak in church soon. If you base your talk on Ammon in the Book of Mormon, you will give a great talk. Keep the faith going. Share your successes with us.

Now tot he smacktalking: I would like Marek to beat me in the triathlon swim, so I can tear by him on the bike. but it probably won't happen. We will be in different waves, so he won't be able to draft off me at least. We'll have to compare times after the race. Even more interesting will be to see if Marek and Aubrey can beat mom and me.

Also the day before Bonnie is getting married in Manti. (Bad timing as far as the triathlon is concerned. Doesn't she know how to schedule.? And doesn't she know what is important?)

Valentine's day is coming on Tuesday. Mom insists that I not spend any money on her. And she doesn't want candy. What to do . What to do.

Aly wants to have her wedding reception in our backyard. Looks like we might have to build a fence to block the view up the hill. This marriage thing can be so much work and so expensive. At least she looks great in her wedding dress. (Mom is working on the arrangements, so everything will come out super!)

Love and Kisses, DAD

Greetings from the mainland. We had a fantastic week here. I am getting people signed up for the may 27th Salem Triathlon. It will be quite a Cerny happening.
Aly tried on wedding dresses yesterday. She looked great in every one that whe tried on.
Mom finally got her birth certificate and I think that she will finally get her passport ina week or two. We are trying to finalize airplane arrangements still. I heard that the road to Machu Picchu will be closed for a monthe for repairs. I hope that it doesn't screw us up.
We know that you are having a great time and are finding much joy in the work. Thank you for your hard work and prayers. It is such an adventure that you are having.
At the MTC the missionaries are still coming and going so fast. Our testimony meeting was really good today. The missionaries bore strong testimonies. It made me think of you in the DR.
Everyone is upset because I want two weeks at Bear Lake this summer. Heh, they don't have to come the entire time. Maybe they're right, but probably not.
I am starting to read the Book of Mormon again, but not as fast as last year. Lat year wore me out, and I have to start back slowly. Actually, I am more of a ponderer, than I am a reader, when it comes to the Book of Mormon. I like to read it at work. I pull it down off the internet. I like the way that it reads on the computer screen.
We just saw Ender and Xander. They are a lot of fun. Ender still cannot do too much, but I did hear him make a few sounds today. Of course, Xander loves to run down the hall and dance with grandma.
We think of you very often, and we are surprised that you have already been gone 6 months. Your Spanish must be excellent by now. If not, here's praying for you.
Love and Kisses, DAD

You look six months older

Hey Nate, I hope that you are doing so great. I hope that you (and all of your cells) are loving your missionary work. I was thinking that in this life we get to do a lot of things that we want to do, but all the time we have to be serving the Lord. He wants us to always be doing something to serve others and build up His kingdom. I pray that you will be able to learn Spanish and that everyone will want to listen to you. I am writing a paper about how my research will help find a cure for cancer. Cancer is too hard for me to understand. I liked your story about how you kept praying. I keep praying for you and Kara. Keep up all the good.
Your pal,
Al

Nate, don't feel bad. We all love you dude! I'm going to have to be the designated pep talker of the love for nate gang.
